A novel employability embedding framework for three-year bachelor’s programs

Employability skills and capabilities are equally important as academic technical knowledge in the current job market. Consequently, universities increasingly focusing on providing employability to their students. While Australia experimenting with various methods for embedding, we could not find any framework embedding at course level. Mapping level is non-trivial but necessary scaffold employability. e-portfolios form an integral part of employability; however, it well defined literature how embed assess e-portfolio into a tertiary program. Unless embedded assessed program, uptake by students cannot be guaranteed; hence miss out benefits such tool. This paper addresses these two key challenges.
